21. Kings Sign Vlade Divac: In the offseason of 1998, the Kings signed free agent Vlade Divac, and it became the beginning of the Kings entering elite level. Throughout his 6 seasons with the Kings organization, Divac averaged 11.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per contest, while being selected an All-Star in 2001.

Vlade was no where near a superstar for the Sacramento Kings, but he was the glue that kept everyone together. To this day, Divac may be the best signing the Kings have had in the Sacramento era.
