This article takes a look at the Sacramento Kings’ schedule for the week of March 20 to March 26 to give you a guide of what is ahead.

The Sacramento Kings enter the week having dropped both games of a Saturday and Sunday back-to-back.  They were forced to travel to two Western Conference playoff contenders and the young squad was unable to produce a victory.

The Kings have a nice two-day break before three games this week all in the state of California.  They play a home game followed by traveling to Oakland and Los Angeles later in the week.

Let us now take a closer look at each game on tap for the Sacramento Kings this week.

Game 71 vs Milwaukee Bucks

When- Wednesday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California

The Milwaukee Bucks make their only visit to the Golden 1 Center on Monday and it is Kings’ fans chance to see the Greek Freak in person.

Giannis Atetokoumpo will invade in Sacramento in the midst of a breakout season.  Giannis is averaging 22.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game while shooting 52.6% from the field and 78.2% from the line.

What impresses me most about the Greek Freak is his combination of size and athleticism.  He has to be near seven foot tall and yet has the agility to make highlight reel dunks and block shots with the best of them.  His athleticism shows in his ability to play every position on the court and defend any player.  Enjoy the Giannis Antetokoumpo show in Sacramento on Wednesday evening.

Game 72 at Golden State Warriors

When- Friday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. Pacific

Where- ORACLE Arena in Oakland, California

The Kings travel to Oakland to take on the Warriors to kick off the weekend.  Last time they visited Oakland, the Kings were destroyed 109-86 on February 15.  That was the last game with DeMarcus Cousins in a Kings uniform and below is a highlight video to refresh your memory on the happenings.

Golden State will present a very difficult matchup for the Kings in every facet of the game, so I am interested to see how Sacramento answers that challenge.  Friday’s game should be exciting and our last chance this season to see Steph Curry and Klay Thompson face off against the Kings.

Game 73 at LA Clippers

When- Sunday, March 26 at 12:30 p.m. Pacific

Where- Staples Center in Los Angeles, California

The Kings make their first of three remaining visits to the Staples Center on Sunday.  This Clippers team looks healthy and could present some difficult matchups for any team.  With Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan leading the team they can be a nightmare to defend.  Sacramento will need to play above their current level if they are going to go into the Staples Center and knock off the LA Clippers.

Summary

There you have it, a look at the upcoming schedule for the Sacramento Kings.  Hopefully, this allows you to plan your week a little better and enjoy some Kings basketball.
