With their backs against the wall, the shorthanded Sacramento Kings managed to beat one of the best teams in the NBA. Without Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine, the Kings beat the East-leading Cleveland Cavaliers 123-119.
Now, on the second night of a back-to-back, the Kings will face LaVine's old team in the Chicago Bulls. But who will the Kings have available to them for this game? What about the Bulls? Here is the full injury ahead of this cross-conference clash.
Sacramento Kings Injury Report
Outside of a few brief rough patches, the Kings have been a pretty healthy team for most of the season. On the year, they have the third-fewest dollars lost from player injuries of any team in the NBA (per Spotrac). However, tonight looks like it will be a different story.
The Kings have yet to submit their injury report for this game, which is pretty normal when the team played a game the night before. However, we know that the Kings will continue to be without Sabonis, as, on Tuesday, it was reported that Sabonis would be out for at least ten days. Tonight will mark the eighth game in the Kings' last ten that Sabonis has missed.
As for LaVine, his status ahead of this game is far less certain. He was a late scratch against the Cavaliers before eventually being ruled out for personal reasons. This could go either way. On one hand, if LaVine missed the game for personal reasons, then he doesn't have any physical ailments. But, on the other hand, depending on the issue at hand, one night may be too quick of a turnaround for LaVine.
Update: LaVine will be available for tonight's game against the Bulls.
Chicago Bulls Injury Report
The Bulls are also playing their second game in two nights. So, they have yet to submit their official injury report. Against the Phoenix Suns, they were missing Lonzo Ball and Ayo Dosunmu. Dosunmu is out for the year after getting season-ending shoulder surgery.
As for Ball, he is still ramping up from his wrist injury. He only just started shooting again. So, it is safe to say he will not play in this game.
After this game, the Kings will get a night off before they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, March 22.
