We are all here at A Royal Pain because we love the Sacramento Kings. And since we love them, we need to know who are the main voices of the production team and, of course, how to watch them. So, without further ado, we give you all that in this post.
Sacramento Kings Announcers
The main TV tandem you hear when watching games is Mark Jones (the play-by-play announcer) and Kayte Christensen (the analyst). However, since Jones also calls games for ESPN and ABC, he doesn't have the capacity to travel for all 82 games.
So, when Jones can't make it, Kyle Draper – host of both the pre-game and post-game live shows – fills in as the play-by-play announcer in his absence. Mike Bibby (a key part of the most successful era of Kings' basketball) and Deuce Mason are also involved in the on-air TV production process.
As for the radio side of things, Gary Gerould is the main voice associated with it. In fact, he has been the voice of the Kings since 1985 (when the team moved to Sacramento). Outside of Gerould, Mason, Jason Ross, and former Kings' forward Henry Turner all also contribute to the radio production.
Where to watch the Sacramento Kings?
If you live in the Kings team territory and have a provider that includes NBC Sports California, you can stream the Kings on the NBC Sports app.
If you don't have cable, you can watch NBA Sports California on Fubo TV, YouTube TV, Hulu, and DirectTV Stream.
If neither of those options works for you, there is another option. By purchasing an NBA League Pass subscription, you have access to every Kings game since 2012. You can watch every game live if you are not in the area. However, if you are in the Kings' region, you will have to wait a few days before being able to view the game.
The Kings' next game will be on Saturday, March 1, against the Houston Rockets.
