Player #3: Bradley Beal

Action Network Ranking: Bradley Beal

Why Murray Should Be Ranked Over Beal: To many of you, this is the name that is the most surprising to see on this list, especially given Bradley Beal's All-Star pedigree (three-time All-Star). But believe it or not, it is the one I feel the strongest about.

First off, you could argue that all the reasons that Conley should be ranked below Murray are also relevant for Beal. Beal is getting up there in years (age 31), doesn't have as much size as Murray(6'5), and he's not a strong enough offensive star to make up for his limitations as a role player.

All that alone should be enough to have Murray over Beal. But then you also have to factor in the contract disparity. With Conley (average annual value of 10.4 million, per Spotrac) and Bridges (25 million), you could argue that their figures are reasonable enough that you don't need to factor that into the mix. With Beal, however, that is just not the case.

Beal is set to make 50.2 million dollars this season. That is over five times as much as the Kings need to pay Keegan Murray in 2024-25 (8.9 million). The fact that you can get Murray for so much less is the icing on the cake. Beal has no business being ranked ahead of Murray.
