The 2024 Paris Olympics is almost upon us, and as we've discussed before, the only current member of the Sacramento Kings who is competing in the games is essential bench forward Trey Lyles.

To honor the lone King representing us in the big games, we will have an updating tracker that will serve as a one-stop-shop for keeping track of all Lyles' performances and statistics.

Team Canada Schedule

Lyles is representing Team Canada. As of right now, we don't know whether or not they will be advancing past the group stages. So, here is the schedule for the games that we know they are guaranteed to be participating in.

Team Canada and Lyles are playing in three games during group stages – against Greece, Australia, and Spain. Outside of the game against Greece (which is still pretty early), folks on the West Coast will have to get up at the crack of dawn to see Lyles play.

Canada vs. Greece – Canada Wins 86-79

In their first game of group play, Team Canada beat Team Greece 86-79. In that game, Lyles played 14 minutes, going scoreless on 0 for 2 shooting from the floor (0-1 shooting from three). Lyles also posted three rebounds, one assist, and one turnover.

Canada vs. Australia – Canada Wins 93-83

In their second game of group play, Team Canada beat Team Australia 93-83. In that game, Lyles played seven minutes, scoring three points (his first points of Olympic play) and dishing out one assist in seven minutes of action.

Canada vs. Spain – Canada Wins 88-85

Team Canada completed the group play stage with a perfect 3-0 record after their 88-85 win against Team Spain. In that game, Lyles scored three points on one for four shooting from the floor and one for two shooting from three. He also logged one assist and one rebound in his eleven minutes.

Canada vs. France – France Wins 82-73

After going undefeated in the group play stage, Team Canada falls in the quarterfinals to Team France 82-73, thereby eliminating them from Olympic competition. In his final game, Lyles continued what has been an unspectacular run – tallying two points and three rebounds on 0 for 2 shooting from the floor and 2 for 4 shooting from the line.

Lyles has appeared in just four games during the Olympics. In those games, Lyles has averaged 2 PPG, 1.8 RPG, 0.8 APG on 18.1% shooting from the floor and 50% free throw shooting.
