During a time in which there projected to be plenty of chaos, this coming NBA Offseason maybe among the most chaotic ever. Teams who desperately want to avoid the restrictions that come with the NBA's second tax apron will try to make trades to get them under said apron, and the Sacramento Kings might be able to take advantage.

One potential trade partner is the Denver Nuggets. Coming off their first title as a franchise in 2023, the Nuggets not only failed to repeat, but fell well short of their title expectations after the Timberwolves eliminated them in the second round.

While having the league's reigning MVP will always put them in the title conversation, Denver still faces questions like how badly do they want to keep Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Doing so will surely put them in the second tax apron, which doesn't sound too appealing, knowing they didn't come close to another title.

And that's where the Kings come in. Michael Porter Jr. has his warts, but he holds plenty of appeal to a playoff hopeful like the Kings.
