All offseason long, we have been discussing some potential trades the Sacramento Kings could make to upgrade their roster and take the next step toward serious title contention. And it looks like the Kings front office has been doing the same.

On Tuesday, it was reported by Action Network's Matt Moore that the Kings have been exploring the possibility of a trade with the Chicago Bulls for the services of Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso. It seems that by doing this, the Kings are preparing for life without Malik Monk (who is set to become an unrestricted free agent). The hypothetical offer is said to revolve around Kevin Huerter, Harrison Barnes, and draft compensation.

So, I went ahead and put together a fake trade (that works salary-wise) involving the pieces mentioned above. To try and gauge how much the Bulls should be getting in return for LaVine and Caruso, I looked at what the Washington Wizards got for Bradley Beal (another overpaid slasher with a history of injuries) and adjusted for Caruso's presence in this situation. Here is what I came up with.

Zach LaVine Trade

Now, in the next two slides, I will grade this hypothetical trade from the perspective of the Kings (next slide) and the Bulls (slide after that).
