Full list of every NBA game played outside the US & Canada
By Mat Issa
Everyone always says that the NBA is a global game. It is played and watched by individauls of all age levels in countries all over the world.
The NBA knows this, and as a result, they have made it a point to make sure that they play games outside of the United States and Canada (remember, the Toronto Raptors play 41 games a year in Canada). For those wondering, here is that full list of those games.
Preseason Games Outside of The United States And Canada
This preseason, the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets (the past two NBA Champions) will play each other twice in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. One of those games will be on October 4 and October 6. These games will give fans the chance to watch the two teams many people have wanted to see face-off in the NBA Finals over the last two years.
Regular Season Games Outside of The United States And Canada
Other than the two games in Abu Dhabi, there will be three regular season games that occur outside of the United States and Canada – one in Mexico City, Mexico, and two in Paris, France. The one in Mexico City will be on November 2 between the Miami Heat and the Washington Wizards.
Meanwhile, the two Paris games will be played on January 23 and January 25 between the Indiana Pacers and the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs, of course, roster the prodigy from France, Victor Wembanyama. So, those games will act as a homecoming of sorts for the big man.
Are The Sacramento Kings Playing Any Games Outside of The United States And Canada?
As you can probably infer from the fact that they weren't featured in any of the games we just listed, the Sacramento Kings will not be playing any games outside of the United States or Canada in 2024-25 (barring a crazy turn of events).
However, the Kings have participated in multiple games like this in the past. The list of places they have played in includes Shanghai, Beijing, Mumbai, Tokyo, and Mexico City.
