Best NBA prop bets today for Kings vs. Lakers (Can Keegan Murray stay hot?)
By Peter Dewey
The Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers already played one thrilling matchup this season with the Kings winning that game in overtime.
Now, with De’Aaron Fox back in the lineup, the Kings and Lakers square off on Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
LeBron James and the Lakers blew out the Memphis Grizzlies last night, allowing them to rest James and Anthony Davis down the stretch. That should bode well for them both suiting up in this game, and I am targeting James in the prop market.
Still, there are two Kings players that I like even more.
Here are my favorite props for this matchup, including a play for Kings youngster Keegan Murray.

Kings vs. Lakers best NBA prop bets today
- Keegan Murray OVER 14.5 points
- Harrison Barnes OVER 3.5 rebounds
- LeBron James OVER 23.5 points
Keegan Murray OVER 14.5 points
After a slow start to the season, Murray has scored 24 and 25 points in his last two games, making eight shots from beyond the arc in 18 attempts.
This is a welcome sign for Sacramento, and I think it gives some value to Murray’s points prop, which is set at just 14.5 in this game.
The Kings should see a boost everywhere on offense with De’Aaron Fox back in the lineup, and Murray seemed to be a major beneficiary, getting plenty of open looks against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
I wouldn't be shocked to see him score at a high level against a Lakers team that allows the eighth most 3-pointers per game this season.
Harrison Barnes OVER 3.5 rebounds
On the season, Harris Barnes is averaging just 3.1 rebounds per game, but he’s grabbed four or more boards in five of his nine games – including three straight.
To put Barnes at plus money to grab four boards seems like a bit of a steal.
The Lakers rank just 20th in the NBA in rebounding percentage, so this could be a matchup where the Kings win the battle of the boards. With Barnes seeing 30.1 minutes per game this season, I would be surprised to see him fall well short of this prop on Wednesday.
LeBron James OVER 23.5 points
A rested LeBron scored 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting on Tuesday night in just 22:39 of action.
Now, he should be able to give the Lakers 30+ minutes on Wednesday in what is expected to be a close game.,
Before sitting out against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, James had scored over 23.5 points in four of his last five games.
He had 27 in the first meeting against the Kings, and I think he could be in line for another big showing here, especially since he’s shooting the ball at a high rate (56.7 percent from the floor).
