The Sacramento Kings have had a strong last two seasons – averaging 47 wins over each of the last two seasons. But before that, they were the laughingstock of the league – going 16 years with a sub-500 record and no playoff appearances.

When you lose so much for so long, you create a lot of losing streaks against certain teams. But now that we are good again, we can exact our vengeance on the organizations that kicked us while we were down.

Now, let's look at seven teams that have had our number recently and figure out when we will get our chance to even the score.

Houston Rockets

Losing Streak: 3 Games in a row.

This one is interesting because we actually played the Houston Rockets relatively well when we weren't that great. From 2019-22, we put up an even 5-5 record against them. Then, in 2022-23 (when we did get good), we won all four of our games against the Rockets. However, last season, we got swept by them in our three games against them.

Revenge Dates: December 3 (Home); January 16 (Home); March 1 (Away)

New Orleans Pelicans

Losing Streak: 5 Games in a row.

This is another case of a losing streak that developed after we became respectable. All five (six if you add the play-in tournament) of our losses to the New Orleans Pelicans came in 2023-24, when we won 46 games. Now, we have to deal with a weird schedule quirk that has us playing them three times in six days (right before the All-Star break).

Revenge Dates: February 8 (Home); February 12 (Away); February 13 (Away)
