4. De’Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Chris Duarte, Sasha Vezenkov, JaVale McGee

So far this season, this lineup has played the fourth-most possessions for the Kings at 65, and it has been successful. On average, this combination outscores opponents by almost 20 points, which is actually a little better than the starting five.

What makes this lineup of Fox and four reserves so intriguing is that there’s plenty of potential for the future. Fox and Monk have a lot of experience playing together, but Duarte, Vezenkov, and McGee are all new additions to the team.

Nevertheless, the lineup was already good early in the season and could be even better with more reps. Fox, Duarte, and McGee are all generally solid defenders. Monk and McGee are developing a beautiful two-man game in the pick-and-roll. Vezenkov, Fox, Duarte, and Monk can all be threats from behind the arc.

On paper, this lineup has it all, and if they can continue to realize the vision, we might see more of it in the future.
