#2: De'Aaron Fox

It wouldn't be wise to make a list of the most untouchable Kings, include Sabonis, and not also have his favorite dribble handoff partner, now is it?

De'Aaron Fox is one of the best All-Star level two-way guards on the planet. Many people (myself included) will say that he is the Kings' best player. On top of that, the Kings are the team that drafted Fox, and they're the only team he's ever suited up for. So, you need to factor in the sentimental attachment that exists there.

The reason I have Fox ahead of Sabonis is that he's on a much better contract (the second-best contract on the team, according to my formula). However, he doesn't own the number one spot in our countdown because he will be up for an extension very soon. And while nothing is for certain, it is likely that he will command an even higher bounty than Sabonis.

When that happens, the Kings may be more receptive to offers for Fox, especially if their current core ends up not having the upside they are hoping for. But even then, it will take one heck of an offer to pry Fox from the Kings.
