Brandon Ingram - New Orleans Pelicans

The Pelicans may have made the postseason over the Kings, but they still have not made much progress since starting the Zion era. Part of that isn't their fault. Zion gets hurt much like he usually does, though this time, it was at the worst time. If New Orleans decides that this is as far as it goes with those two, Ingram could be a solid option for the Kings.

For one, he's younger than Harrison Barnes, so he would fit better with Fox's and Domantas Sabonis' timeline. Second, and more importantly, he is better than Barnes. Ingram has proven that he's a prolific scorer while also flashing some playmaking ability. The defense leaves a lot to be desired, but Ingram could flourish playing next to the two other scorers who have different skillsets from him.

Of course, the Pelicans are not going to give up Ingram with Barnes as the best returning asset going back to them. However, they could agree to a multi-team trade that would send them perhaps someone who they see as a better fit next to Zion than Ingram.

The Pelicans enter the 2024 NBA offseason with the same question as the Kings. Should they agree to a trade that would help their rosters gel better, there is a scenario where an Ingram trade would be feasible.
