3. Domantas Sabonis, De’Aaron Fox, Keegan Murray, Malik Monk, Keon Ellis

Coach Mike Brown has been experimenting with lots of three-guard lineups lately, and this is one of them. At first glance, it looks like an offensive-minded lineup with some perimeter defense sprinkled around it in the form of Keon Ellis and Keegan Murray.

Domantas Sabonis is an offensive force as a scorer, playmaker, and rebounder, Keegan Murray can score from several levels now, and De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk are the most dynamic scorers on this Kings roster. The former Kentucky teammates are amazing in transition together and can kill defenses in the half-court as well.

Surprisingly, this lineup has been killing it defensively this month, however, posting a 92.7 defensive rating. It is a small lineup, but Ellis can guard bigger players if he has to. He can still use his long arms, quick hands, and foot speed to his advantage. Likewise, Fox is much stronger than he looks and battles defensively, and Murray is getting more and more physical defensively.

Everyone in this lineup is locked in defensively, and it has been working. On the other end of the floor, this group offers a lot of playmaking between Sabonis, Fox, and Monk as well as plenty of shooting and bucket-getters.
