3 Stats that should have Sacramento Kings fans excited about next season

The Western Conference is a fierce beast. Even if you make improvements in the offseason (like the Sacramento Kings have done), there is no guarantee that you will climb up the standings.
However, even when you don't factor in the additions the Kings made to their roster this summer, there are various statistics (three of them, to be exact) that point to them being better than their 46-36 record suggests.
So, we, as Kings fans, have a double whammy to look forward to. We have the improvements that have been made to our roster, and the fact that we were probably already better than our record may indicate. Having both of these variables on our side makes it much more likely that we climb up the standings next season.
But that's enough rambling for now. It's time to give you what you came for. Here are three statistics that should have Kings fans excited about the 2024-25 season.
Statistic #1: Team LEBRON
Those fluent in NBA analytics have surely heard of BBall Index's one-number catch-all metric LEBRON. Most of the time, all-in-one metrics like LEBRON are used for individual players. But BBall Index has a team version of the stat known as "Team LEBRON." And take a look at where the Kings fared in that category last year.
Why Do We Care About This Stat?
It shows that, at the very least, the Kings have talent and that their talent plays a lot for them (since Team LEBRON is weighed by minutes played). Last year's team was good. We just had some bad luck...
