2. Domantas Sabonis

Domantas Sabonis has only been in Sacramento for two-and-a-half seasons, but he is already one of the franchise’s greats. He is the team’s all-time leader in plus/minus, ranks second in offensive rating, effective field goal percentage, and field goal percentage as well as third in rebounds per game in franchise history.

Leading the league in double-doubles, triple-doubles, and rebounds per game, the big man is having a historic season and only underlining his standing as one of the greats to play in Sacramento.

Initially, the trade that brought Sabonis to the Kings was deemed a mistake because of Tyrese Haliburton’s potential. Haliburton is a future star in the NBA, but Sabonis helped pull the Kings out of an incredibly deep hole. The team had been stuck at the bottom of the league for years on end and Sabonis was a key piece in changing that.

He has his flaws defensively, but Sabonis is a great running mate for De’Aaron Fox, an amazing offensive hub, and a fighter who battles on the boards and never misses games unless absolutely necessary.

The Player Efficiency Rating is doing his contributions justice. With a rating of 23.3, Sabonis ranks second in franchise history.
