After winning three straight games and clinching their spot in the NBA Play-In Tournament, the Sacramento Kings fell to the Denver Nuggets in their first game without Michael Malone as their head coach.
Now, their eyes are geared toward their game against the Los Angeles Clippers. If they can win tonight, they will clinch the ninth seed, thereby ensuring that they will host their play-in game against the Dallas Mavericks. Meanwhile, the Clippers are simultaneously trying to avoid the play-in tournament while also challenging for homecourt advantage in the loaded Western Conference. So, both teams will be eager to win this late-season matchup.
But who will the Kings have available to them? What about the Clippers? Here is the full injury report ahead of this game.
Sacramento Kings Injury Report
Outside of a few brief rough patches, the Kings have been a pretty healthy team for most of the season. On the year, they have the fewest dollars lost from player injuries of any team in the NBA (per Spotrac). Lately, though, their luck hasn't been so great, as the team has been regularly had two or three rotation-level players listed on their injury report.
Tonight will be a similar story, as three rotation players find themselves on the injury sheet. One we know will be out for certain is Jake LaRavia, who is listed as "out" with a thumb injury. On March 28, it was reported that LaRavia would be re-evaluated in seven to ten days. On Monday, it was announced that LaRavia has been cleared for light on-court workouts. So, LaRavia should be back on the court soon.
The other guy who will definitely be missing in action is Malik Monk. Monk left the Kings' win against the Detroit Pistons early with a calf injury and did not return. It has since been reported that, for the second straight season, Monk would be out for the remainder of the regular season and the play-in.
League source confirms Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk will miss the rest of the regular season and play-in games due to a left calf strain, as first reported by Shams Charania. He will be reevaluated in two weeks.

Meanwhile, after missing three games with a back injury, Keegan Murray could be returning to the lineup tonight. He is currently listed as "questionable," which usually means the player has a 50/50 chance of participating in the upcoming game.
Outside of those two, both Mason Jones and Isaiah Crawford are listed as "out" due to their G-League obligations.
Los Angeles Clippers Injury Report
The Clippers haven't had the same clean bill of good health that the Kings have benefitted from. As it stands, they have the tenth most dollars lost to player injury.
Tonight, they will definitely be missing three players, as Nicolas Batum (groin), Amir Coffey (knee), and Patty Mills (illness) are all listed as "out" for this game. Meanwhile, Norman Powell (shoulder) and Ivica Zubac (ankle) are designated as "questionable."
After this game, the Clippers conclude their regular season by hosting the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, April 13.
