Times are dire for the Sacramento Kings right now. They have lost six of their last eight games, the 10th-seeded Phoenix Suns are gaining ground on them, and their remaining schedule isn't getting any easier.

This makes this next game very important. The Boston Celtics have one of the best records in the league, and they are defending champions. So, beating them would be a great get-right opportunity before they enter the home stretch of the regular season.

But who will the Kings have available to them? What about the Celtics? Here is the full injury report ahead of this game.

Sacramento Kings Injury Update

Fortunately, injuries have played a relatively minor role in the Kings' season. However, tonight may be a different story, as two starters and a burgeoning rotation player are listed on their injury report ahead of tonight.

This edition of the Kings' injury report features a ton of uncertainty, as all three of the players featured on it are designated as "questionable." In general, this injury designation means that a player has a roughly 50/50 chance of playing in the game.

Domantas Sabonis, who has missed 9 of the last 11 games with various injuries, is questionable with a right ankle sprain. Meanwhile, Malik Monk and Devin Carter are both questionable because they are nursing their own illnesses.

Monk was a late scratch in the Kings' loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. Carter played a little over ten minutes in that game.

Update: The Kings are now listing Doug McDermott (elbow) as questionable for tonight's game against the Celtics.

Boston Celtics Injury Update

The Celtics have yet to submit their injury report for this game, which is pretty normal when the team played a game the night before (they beat the Portland Trail Blazers 129-116 on Sunday).

In that game, the Celtics were without Jaylen Brown (knee), Jrue Holiday (shoulder), Kristaps Porzingis (illness), and Xavier Tillman Sr. (knee). So, all of their statuses will be worth monitoring as we get closer to tipoff.

Brown is set to get re-evaluated by the team after missing two games with a bone bruise with posterior impingement in his right knee. Although, considering the Celtics are on the second night of a road back-to-back and are pretty secure in the second spot in the Eastern Conference, it seems doubtful that the team will try to rush one of their best players back too early.

Update: The Celtics have since released their injury report. Holiday is not on it. So, he should be good to go. Horford and Tillman are out. Meanwhile, Brown and Hauser (back) are questionable.

After this game, the Kings will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on the second night of a back-to-back on Tuesday, March 25.
