The Sacramento Kings are fresh off a heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. After forcing the game to overtime, they had to watch Kawhi Leonard sink the game-winning shot as time expired. On top of the defeat, the Kings also fell even further behind the Clippers for the eighth seed in the Western Conference (1.5 games back).

However, the schedule waits for no man (or team), and the Kings need to pick themselves up from their bootstraps and try to get back on the winning track tonight against the New York Knicks.

But who will they have available tonight? What about the Knicks? Here is the full injury report ahead of this game.

Sacramento Kings Injury Report

Fortunately, injuries have played a relatively minor role in the Kings' season. However, the last few games have been a different story, as the Kings have been playing without two of their best players.

Since they played relatively late last night (9:30 PM EST), the Kings still don't have their official injury report posted on the NBA's website. Still, we know that, despite being cleared for on-court activities and completing an individual workout on Saturday, the team will remain without Domantas Sabonis for this game (this will be their fifth straight game without the big man).

As for Malik Monk, he has missed the last three games with a right toe sprain. Like Sabonis, Monk has been cleared for on-court activity and completed a workout on Saturday. Because the injury report is not out yet, we don't know Monk's official status. However, the fact that he hasn't been officially ruled out like Sabonis is cause for optimism.

Jae Crowder missed yesterday's game after being listed as questionable prior to tipoff. It is likely he will carry a similar designation heading into this contest. Crowder hasn't really factored in the team's rotation since January. So, whether or not he plays probably won't factor too much in head coach Doug Christie's plans for the game.

New York Knicks Injury Report

The big injury news for New York involves Jalen Brunson. On Thursday, the All-NBA guard sprained his right ankle and is expected to be out for the next two weeks as a result. So, the Knicks will play the Kings without their best player in the lineup.

Other than Brunson, the Knicks also have Pacome Dadiet (G-League), Kevin McCullar Jr. (G-League), and Ariel Hukporti (meniscus) listed as out for this game.

After this game, the Kings have a big rivalry game to gear up for on Thursday, March 13, against the Golden State Warriors.
