As many of you are well aware, the Sacramento Kings are in the middle of a highly-contentious playoff race. They are currently ninth in the Western Conference and 3.5 games back from the eighth seed. Being able to move up one more spot has major implications for the play-in tournament because it means that they would only need to win one play-in game instead of two.

Their next opponent isn't an easy one, either. On Wednesday, the Kings will face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers – the team tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the best record in the league.

Who will the Kings have for battle against this Goliath adversary? What about the Cavaliers? Here is the full injury report ahead of this game.

Sacramento Kings Injury Report

Outside of a few brief rough patches, the Kings have been a pretty healthy team for most of the season. On the year, they have the third-fewest dollars lost from player injuries of any team in the NBA (per Spotrac).

Fortunately, tonight will be very in line with this season-long theme, as only one main rotation player is in jeopardy of missing this game. Unfortunately, that player is the team's best player.

Domantas Sabonis is listed as "out" for tonight's game with the right ankle sprain he incurred in the team's win against the Memphis Grizzlies. It gets worse, too. Not only is Sabonis missing for this game, but it was reported yesterday that he will be out for at least ten days.

The Kings are 31-27 in the games that Sabonis plays. Meanwhile, they are just 3-6 in the games that he has missed. Nine games is the most Sabonis has missed since the 2021-22 season.

Other than Sabonis, Mason Jones and Isaiah Crawford are also out due to their G-League obligations.

Cleveland Cavaliers Injury Report

The Cavaliers have also had a pretty healthy season. They are eighth in the NBA in fewest dollars lost to player injuries this season. As it stands, they have not submitted their official injury report ahead of this game.

However, no main rotation players were missing from their game against the Los Angeles Clippers, and no one got hurt in that game, so we can infer that they should be completely healthy heading into this matchup.

The only reason why they may be missing someone is if they choose to rest players, as this game is the second of a back-to-back.

After this game, the Kings host the Chicago Bulls in the second game of their own back-to-back on Thursday, March 20.
