De’Aaron Fox

The market for De’Aaron Fox has the potential to be sky-high but that depends on the Kings’ plan for the future. Tyrese Haliburton is waiting to take on a larger role – and Sacramento should be willing to at least test the waters.

Fox can be a key domino at the trade deadline and teams should be ready to make the call. The top teams to keep an eye on for Fox as of now would be the Celtics and Pacers, two struggling teams ready to move a star of their own.

Domantas Sabonis would be an excellent return for De’Aaron Fox and perhaps another asset. Jaylen Brown would be another good swap candidate as Boston looks for a different star to pair with Jayson Tatum.

Obviously, the 76ers and Ben Simmons would be another notable trade package that could signal the end of Fox’s days in Sacramento. Simmons has not played this season but there is no denying that he can still be a foundational piece for whichever team makes a deal for him this season.

De’Aaron Fox is still very much a star and his ceiling as a point guard is through the roof. As the Kings continue to stockpile depth in the backcourt, shifting his money to the frontcourt in some way might be the best option for their future.
