Buddy Hield

Buddy Hield may not be the best player available from the Kings but he is certainly going to be the most common player to be involved in trade talks. He’s a shot creator and efficient perimeter scorer that is under team control for the next two seasons beyond 2021-22.

In a down season by his standards, Hield is still averaging 15.2 points and shooting 36.9 percent from deep. Assuming he can get back to his level of play from 2018-2020, Hield is going to be a vital piece for a championship run.

Sacramento cannot afford to keep Hield when his market is as hot as it is right now. Similar to Barnes, Hield is creeping up there in age but can still be a deadly shooter from the perimeter. Trade rumors have focused on Hield for quite some time now and an offer is bound to catch Sacramento’s attention at some point.

Players like Cam Reddish, Pascal Siakam, and Domantas Sabonis are available on the trade market. Pairing Hield with a young piece like Marvin Bagley III could help sway things in the Kings’ favor but either way, a big deal is out there.
