One mother of a Sacramento Kings player has apparently been digging through old photo albums and is sharing pictures of her son from long ago.

Richaun Holmes and his family have been in the city for about ten months, and they’ve already become fan favorites for the Sacramento Kings faithful. Dr. Lydecia Holmes and her husband Richard have made a name for themselves by recording hype videos and posting them to Instagram and Twitter after big wins.

During the NBA’s current hiatus, it seems as though Dr. Holmes is doing some digging through the old family photo albums. She has uncovered some gems and made them available on social media, much to the playful dismay of her son.

The first installment came on May 2nd when she posted pictures of Richaun in his completely oversized prom tuxedo and bright yellow vest.

First of all, would you look at all the material used to make that outfit? My goodness. Hopefully there was enough wool and polyester left for everyone else’s outfits at that prom. While it is difficult to identify Richaun without the thick, deadlocked hair, that contagious smile can be pinpointed from a mile away.

There is no date given on the photos, but Richaun’s junior and senior years in high school came sometime between 2009 and 2011.

A day later, Dr. Holmes posted two more photos from Richaun’s past, including a baby photo as well as a picture of him as a college freshman, coming home for a well-cooked meal from mom.

Then, on May 5th, Richaun’s mom dropped the photograph that apparently dropped the mic. Accompanied by a caption that began “I know I’m in trouble for posting this pic!”, the picture apparently comes from a long-ago family vacation to a theme park.

The image features the Holmes family front and center, with Richaun certainly being the most expressive. Apparently, he is not particularly fond of the Hollywood Tower of Terror Hotel ride, but as one commentor points out, that is the same face he makes after a monster dunk.

We’re not sure how extensive Dr. Holmes’ photo album collection is, but we have a feeling that we haven’t seen the last image from Richaun’s childhood.
