The Sacramento Kings will continue their unlikely playoff push tonight as the Washington Wizards make their annual visit to Golden 1 Center.
Having won 11 of their last 16 games, the Sacramento Kings find themselves in the thick of the race for the 8th and final playoff seed in the Western Conference. They will start the night 3.5 games behind the Grizzlies and in a three-way tie for the 9th seed with Portland and New Orleans.
They will look to make up a bit of ground against the 22-37 Wizards, who are chasing a playoff berth themselves. While their record indicates that they may be on the tanking side of things, 22 wins is good enough to qualify for the 9th seed in the Eastern Conference, and the Wizards sit just four games behind the idol Nets.
Washington is in the middle of a four-game road trip and beat Golden State on Sunday by a score of 124-110.

Players To Watch:
One of the bigger stories and best overall performers this season is Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal. He is averaging a career-high (by far) 30.4 points per game and an also career-best 6.1 assists on the season. But it is over the last handful of games that Beal has really turned it on. In his last five games, he is averaging a blistering 42.8 points per game on 52.6 percent three point shooting.
Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic will certainly have their hands full trying to contain the red-hot Beal in tonight’s contest.
Prediction:
Kings 108, Wizards 102
