The Sacramento Kings will take on the Memphis Grizzlies tonight in the FedEx Forum in what will be the first must-win game of the season.

Here we go. The Sacramento Kings are playing very meaningful games in late February and early March, which is all we could really ask for at this point after such a disappointing season. The team will have a handful of must-win games next month, but they won’t mean as much if the Kings aren’t able to pull out a victory tonight.

They will travel to Memphis for the final contest of a four-game road trip to take on the team that currently sits in the idol 8th playoff spot. These two teams met just last week when Sacramento won in a high scoring affair, which set the table for their playoff hopes. This time, the Grizzlies will be without Jaren Jackson Jr., who is out indefinitely with a knee issue. JJJ had four made three-pointers in the last game.

The Kings have a couple of winnable games at home looming on the schedule, so picking up a victory against an opponent who currently holds a playoff spot is going to be very important both for the standings and the team’s confidence.
