The Sacramento Kings have pulled us right back in to potential playoff hopes, despite how unlikely they may seem. After losing 15 of 18 beginning in December, the Kings have now won 8 of their last 12 contests and find themselves 4.5 games out of the final playoff spot with 26 games remaining.

They will begin a seemingly soft spot in their schedule tonight as they make the short trip to the Bay Area to take on the 12-win Warriors. The Kings have already enjoyed victories over the Warriors of 13 and 21 points, and will need to make quick work of their Northern California counterparts if they want to have any semblance of hope down the stretch of the season.

Players To Watch:

The newcomers for the Kings have been making their mark early on and will look to build on that success tonight. Kent Bazemore has been a pleasant surprise off of the bench, and Alex Len had a solid first showing against the Clippers by giving Sacramento the big interior body that they’ve been missing.

Look for them to capitalize on a thin Warriors team and help the Kings to victory tonight.

Prediction:

Kings 119, Warriors 105
