#1. “Classic” – Royal Blue; 4-2 record

The uniform that the Sacramento Kings have performed the best in also happens to be one of the consensus best looking jerseys in franchise history. We conducted a poll at the time of the release of the new “Classic” jerseys, and the royal blue’s were voted as the the second favorite uniform behind only the ’94-’02 prime Kings blacks.

The players must agree. Look good, feel good, play good. The Kings got their first victory of the season while wearing the blues, a thrilling victory over the Jazz that finally got them in to the win column in their sixth game. They have gone 3-2 in the Classic edition uniforms since for a solid 4-2 record, the best for any Kings color scheme.

The Kings will wear these beauties six more times this season, including the first game back from the All-Star break on Thursday evening when the 8th seeded Grizzlies pay a visit to Sacramento.

They will also be in blue for the final game of the year, a Northern California showdown with the Golden State Warriors. Instead of being a potential playoff play-in game, it will likely count more for draft positioning. Given the fact that the season is all but lost in mid-February, a loss for the royal blues to close out the year might not be such a bad thing.
