The 21-32 Sacramento Kings are set to take on the 32-22 Dallas Mavericks, can the Kings get their 22nd win on the road?

The Sacramento Kings are gearing up to head to Dallas, Texas to play the Dallas Mavericks for the third time this year. So far, they have split the series 1-1. Look for the Kings to take the lead in the series tonight.

Unfortunately for the Kings, Dallas’ young superstar Luka Doncic is gearing up to play tonight after missing the previous seven games with an ankle injury that he sustained in a practice. With the Kings still missing some star role players, it will be an uphill battle.

The last time they played the Mavericks and won, Nemanja Bjelica had 30 points, seven boards, four assists on 13-18 shooting. The team was minus Fox at that point as well, but Holmes was present and made an impact in that game.

Buddy Hield also contributed 26 points and Ariza and Bogdanovic both had 10 off the bench. Since that game, both De’Aaron Fox and Harrison Barnes have both been putting in work to keep the team above the water.

While the Sacramento Kings have seen Doncic before, the Mavericks didn’t see any Fox last time they met. If the Kings are going to pull this game off against one of the west’s best teams, they are going to need Fox, Hield, Barnes, Bjelica, and Bogdanovic to all step up.

It is going to be all hands on deck to pull this win out. Kent Bazemore is also going to need to produce more than 2-9 from the field. Buddy Hield is will need to be on fire from downtown and sink at least three triples.

Next. De'Aaron Fox left off of Team USA. dark

The Sacramento Kings have what it takes to pull one out over a superior team. They will just need everyone to buy into the team mentality and come out strong.
