The Sacramento Kings will play the final game of their five-game road trip tonight as they head to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves.
The last meeting between the Sacramento Kings and the Minnesota Timberwolves was one of the lowest points of the season for the Kings. They lost a heartbreaker in overtime and signs of a divided locker room made their way into the post-game quotes and a trade request was publicized the next day.
Things haven’t gotten much better for Sacramento since. They had lost 15 of their previous 18 games before their victory in Chicago on Friday evening, and are a big part of trade rumors as the deadline approaches.
While the Kings won’t be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention for some time, a loss tonight would certainly put a damper on any momentum for the home stretch of the season.

Players To Watch:
Karl-Anthony Towns was injured and did not participate in the first matchup between these teams, but has been on a tear over the last three games. Since January 22nd, Towns has averaged 35.7 points per game on 45% three-point shooting. With both Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley set to miss yet another game, things might get easy for Towns early.

Timberwolves 104, Kings 97
