The Sacramento Kings play host to the best team in the league this evening, and the team is riddled with injuries at just the wrong time.

This one might get a little ugly for the Sacramento Kings.

The Bucks are the owners of the best record in the NBA at a mark of 33-6 and have the defending MVP on their roster who is next to unguardable.

They are the highest-scoring team in the league at 118.9 per game, and hold a +11.8 average point differential, easily the highest in the NBA. 3 of the top 5 players in defensive rating play for Milwaukee. They started the season 7-3, and have gone 26-3 since.

The Kings have been struggling since mid-December, but have won 3 of 4 since the calendar switched over to the new year. While they might be in the middle of righting the ship, the Kings are riddled by the injury bug tonight. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Richaun Holmes, arguably two of the Kings most important players, will miss tonight’s game. The status of Cory Joseph and Nemanja Bjelica are also unknown.

We might get a little taste of Wenyen Gabriel guarding Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight. Fun stuff!

Players To Watch

Given the injuries across the board, there will be plenty of fresh faces for Sacramento. Get used to seeing a lot of Yogi Ferrel, Wenyen Gabriel, Justin James, and Dewayne Dedmon tonight.  One positive on the injury front is that Marvin Bagley is nearing a return from his foot injury, and it has been rumored that he could play tonight. Not that it would make much of a difference anyway.
