The Pros

I mentioned before that Drummond is an interior force, and that is exactly what the Kings need right now. Throughout his career, Drummond has been outstanding when it comes to rebounding the ball and protecting the rim. The 3-time rebounding champ has averaged around 14 rebounds and two blocks per contest in his career, and in this season, he is averaging around 16 rebounds and two blocks a game along with scoring over 17 points.

For a team that lacks rebounding (ranked 27th in the league), the Kings could use the talents of Drummond. I also think the plus to Drummond becoming a King is that his role would be reduced. With the Pistons, Drummond was looked at as the first or second option on the Pistons, but in the case for the Kings, I foresee him being more of an elite role player in the interior.

If Drummond was able to rebound and protect the rim at a high level, which he does already, as well as run the floor on offense, I would consider him to be a great asset for the Kings.

Right now, the Kings have a solid group of big men, but none of them can rebound and block shots at the rate of Drummond. He is a guy that is reliable health-wise (missing only 9 games in the past 3 seasons) and can help the Kings vastly improve on defense.
