The Sacramento Kings finally ended their eight-game losing streak on Thursday, and they look for back-to-back wins against the visiting Pelicans tonight.

The Sacramento Kings should have a slight edge coming into tonight’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Kings are in the middle of a stretch in which they play a large majority of their games at home, while the Pelicans are on a short two-game West Coast road trip. New Orleans will be playing on the second night of a back-to-back after losing to the Lakers last night in Los Angeles.

The Kings only nationally televised game this season will be at home against the Pelicans, but that won’t come until March 11th.

Players To Watch

Look for some of Sacramento’s scorers to get back on track in this game against New Orleans. The Pelicans give up 116.6 points per game which is the fourth most in the NBA. The matchups between these two teams have been high scoring as well, neither team scoring less than 117 points in any of their four meetings last season.

Buddy Hield has shown signs of breaking out of his slump in recent games, and tonight could be the night that he finally sheds the jitters for good. In the same vein, look for Harrison Barnes to increase his scoring output as well in tonight’s contest.
