#2. Bogdanovic Downs Lakers

Our #2 play might be this high on the list because of slight recency bias, but any day that the Kings win and the Lakers lose is a good day.

Sacramento was in the middle of its best season in 13 years and had a date with Los Angeles on December 27th, 2018. The Kings entered the game with an 18-16 record and were tied for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West. The Lakers were 20-15 and tied for fifth.

The Kings built an early lead in the game, but the Lakers came roaring back and took a 15 point lead with under seven minutes to play in the fourth quarter. But a furious comeback led by De’Aaron Fox and Bogdan Bogdanovic got Sacramento within a point of the lead with four seconds remaining, when Brandon Ingram was fouled and sent to the free-throw line.

Ingram would make one of two. The Kings called timeout and had a chance to either tie or win the game with a final shot.

Nemanja Bjelica was the inbounder, and he found Bogdanovic coming off of a Willie Cauley-Stein screen at the top of the three-point arc. Lakers center Tyson Chandler found himself switched on to Bogdanovic who dribbled twice to his right and pulled up for a step-back fade away over the outstretched arm of Chandler.

The rest will live in Golden 1 Center infamy forever.
