Kings vs. Grizzlies: Prediction, Injuries, & Betting Info
The Sacramento Kings will be visiting the Memphis Grizzlies tonight before returning home for the holidays. Can they pick up a much-needed victory?
The Sacramento Kings really need this one.
This evening’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies will be the final game of a stretch of schedule that was deemed a “soft spot” for Sacramento. They have beaten the Thunder and Warriors, but suffered embarrassing ugly losses against the Knicks and Hornets. De’Aaron Fox made his much-anticipated return two games ago, and the Kings have lost both.
The Kings are now 3-8 with Fox in the lineup this season, and 9-8 without him.
Things don’t get much easier, as the Rockets will be waiting when then Kings return to Sacramento on December 23rd. Games against the Timberwolves and the Suns will have heavy implications on the 8th playoff seed, followed by contests against the Nuggets and Clippers to finish off 2019.
Both teams in tonight’s game will be playing the second night of a back-to-back, the Kings having lost to the Pacers on Friday night while the Grizzlies fell to the Cavaliers.

Players To Watch:
The Kings hope that De’Aaron Fox can make a leap of improvement after scoring just 8 points in 24 minutes of playing time against the Pacers. He will be going up against rookie sensation Ja Morant for the first time in what could become a marquee rivalry for years to come.
Morant leads the Grizzlies in scoring with 18.4 per game, but Memphis has fairly equal point distribution, with five players averaging between 13 and 19 points. One of those players is Jaren Jackson Jr., who will be matched up with fellow 2018 top-5 pick Marvin Bagley.
Prediction:
Kings 110, Grizzlies 108
