Sacramento Kings vs. Portland Trail Blazers: Predictions, Injuries, & Betting Info
It has been a long time since the Sacramento Kings won a game in Portland. They’ll have to tonight to keep from sliding down the standings.
Damian Lillard was a rookie. Isaiah Thomas was the Kings’ third-leading scorer. The Heat were about to win their second championship.
The Curiosity Rover had just landed on Mars. The original “Avengers” movie had just been released. We still believed the guy who made the Kony 2012 movie. No one knew what Sandy Hook was, but we just lived through Hurricane Sandy. Barack Obama had recently been re-elected.
Those were all of the things that were happening the last time the Sacramento Kings beat the Trail Blazers in Portland.
The Kings would love to buck that trend tonight. After a brief period in which Sacramento was tied for the eighth and final playoff spot, they find themselves in danger of dropping all the way down to the 11th spot should they find themselves on the losing end of tonight’s game.
The Trail Blazers are on their second night of a back-to-back after losing to the Clippers in Los Angeles last night. Portland was able to rest their starters for the final seven minutes of the game due to blowout conditions. The Kings must take advantage of the momentum breaking loss for the Trail Blazers, as they had previously won three in a row.

Players To Watch:
The health of Bogdan Bogdanovic is huge for the Kings. Not only is he one of their go-to options against any opponent, but he has played some of his best basketball of the season in the two games against the Trail Blazers so far. He has scored 41 points combined on 7 of 14 from beyond the arc.
Damian Lillard has been the leading scorer for Portland in both matchups, and tends to have big games against the Kings. But lately Sacramento has begun to discover it’s secret weapon on defense in Cory Joseph, who will be tasked with attempting to contain Lillard tonight.
Prediction:
We have no idea who this Sacramento Kings team is and which version of them is going to show up from game to game. But we want a victory and this is our preview so we do what we want.
Kings 110, Trail Blazers 98
