The Sacramento Kings have been without their rising star Marvin Bagley III since the start of the season, and fans will have to wait just a little longer for his return back to the court.

Through the majority of the 2019-20 season, the Sacramento Kings have been shorthanded as two of their rising stars De’Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley III have been sidelined with injuries. Even though the Kings have been able to get by without their 1-2 punch, they will eventually need them if the team wants to make the playoffs this season. Not too long ago, the Kings released a report updating the public on the injuries of Fox and Bagley.

According to the report, Fox still has a couple of more weeks before being re-evaluated by the team, but for the case of Bagley, he will be reexamined by the end of this week. There is not a specific date for Bagley to return yet, but he has shown progress when practicing with the team recently.

Final Thoughts

The time for Bagley to return to action is nearing, and that is positive for the Kings. It will be interesting to see how Luke Walton implements Bagley back in the rotation, but overall, he is one of the team’s best scorers and will certainly provide an offensive boost for the purple and white when he comes back.

In his lone game this season, Bagley recorded 14 points and 10 rebounds. In his rookie season, 62 games, he averaged around 15 points, eight rebounds, and one block per contest while making around 50% of his shots from the floor.
