Sacramento Kings vs. Denver Nuggets: Injuries, Predictions, & Betting Info
The Sacramento Kings return home for a quick two-game homestand, and will look to steal a victory from the Denver Nuggets this afternoon.
After an underwhelming East Coast road trip, the Sacramento Kings are coming home. They are in the middle of a stretch in which they play 8 of 10 games on the road, and will play host to the Denver Nuggets tonight.
Denver has the fourth-best record in the league and are just 2.5 games behind the mighty Lakers and the number one seed in the brutal Western Conference. The Kings will certainly have their hands full against one of the NBA’s elite teams, but they know that they can hang with the Nuggets.
These two teams met early in the season while Sacramento was struggling to find its footing. Richaun Holmes, who was still coming off of the bench at that point, scored 24 points and had two monster dunks in the contest. The Kings held a 53-47 lead at halftime before collapsing in the third quarter, which was the norm for them at the time.
Tonight, they will be debuting their City uniforms tonight, which have been met with plenty of criticism. But if the Kings were able to steal a victory tonight, it might bring some good juju to the new jerseys.

Players To Watch:
The matchup between Nikola Jokic and Holmes will be one to keep an eye on. Jokic had just nine points in the last meeting and has not played like the MVP candidate he was a year ago. Look for Richaun Holmes to use his athleticism to duplicate his last performance against Denver.
Prediction:
The Sacramento Kings have a soft spot coming up on their schedule, but the Nuggets certainly are not a part of that.
Nuggets 103, Kings 98
