FIBA Bogi

When both Marvin Bagley and De’Aaron Fox went down with injuries, the Sacramento Kings needed to find another guy on their roster who could put the team on his back and take over games. Luckily, the Kings have Bogdan Bogdanovic.

To begin the season, Bogi struggled as he lacked efficiency on both sides of the ball. But once Fox went down with his ankle injury, Bogi became the player that his fans knew he can be. Since Fox’s injury, Bogi has had to facilitate the offense more, and man has he been fantastic.

During this span, he is averaging around 20 points and seven assists per game while making around 45% of his shots from the floor and 39% of his three-pointers. Especially on the offensive end, when the Kings need a spark, Bogi is the guy that has led them as he has played as he did in the FIBA World Cup last summer where he was a top player in the tournament.

During this recent stretch of games, Bogi is making a good case that he deserves to be part of Sacramento’s main core of players. And if the Kings want him to join that group, they need to make an enticing contract offer to him or he might just leave for another team.
