The Sacramento Kings will make the last stop on their road trip tonight as they take on the 76ers in Philadelphia.

Despite the opposite direction of both these franchises over the last few years, the Sacramento Kings have played some of their most memorable games against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Kings lost the last meeting, but surprisingly won four in a row against the 76ers from 2016 to 2019.

This season, Philadelphia is one of the main contenders in the Eastern Conference and has an 11-6 record. Despite that solid mark, the 76ers are susceptible to losses against inferior opponents, having lost games against the Magic, Thunder, and Suns so far. Their last game resulted in a loss when they visited the defending champion Toronto Raptors.

The Kings have been up and down lately, and are on the final stop of their four-game East Coast road trip. They are 1-2 after a heartbreaker against the Celtics that once again came down to the final possession of the game.

Players To Watch:

Keep an eye on the matchup between Joel Embiid and Richaun Holmes. The two were teammates for two seasons in Philadelphia from 2016 until 2018 and split minutes at the center position. They know each others’ games and should provide an entertaining matchup in this one.

Embiid has been in the news for the wrong reasons for the last few days after his 0 point, 5 foul, 4 turnover game against Marc Gasol and the Raptors on Monday. He will be looking for revenge and could take it out on the Kings front line.

Prediction:

The Sacramento Kings are not supposed to win this game, so they probably will.
