Trevor Ariza

Trevor Ariza has helped the young players out by being one of the mentors in the locker room. He also has been a guy that Luke Walton has relied on a lot for reinforcement off the bench.

In the first five games as a member of the Sacramento Kings, Ariza was inconsistent. During that span, he averaged around four points, four rebounds, and one assist per game while shooting just around 30% from the floor and 33% from the three-point line. He also was a liability on the defensive end and showed little to no urgency when on the court.

But once November came along, he, like most players on the Kings, upped his game. In the last five games, Ariza is averaging around five points and three rebounds per game. The numbers do not look good for Ariza through this five-game span, but his defense has been a big plus for the team.

The Kings’ defense still needs to improve, but it has shown to get better and Ariza is a big reason why. If Ariza can continue to make defense a focus in his game, as well as make the occasional three-point shot at times, he will be a great asset for the Kings going forward.

But due to the inconsistencies that Trevor has shown in the first ten games, I would say he has just been decent as of now.
