The Sacramento Kings face the Portland Trail Blazers tomorrow night, and for the purple and white, it is a must-win game.

The Sacramento Kings have bounced back nicely after their horrific October. After starting the season with a 0-5 record, the team has won three out of their last four games, giving them a record of 3-6.

The Kings remain at the bottom of the league, but they have momentum which they need to continue riding on if they want to complete their goal of making the playoffs. So with that said, their upcoming game against the Portland Trail Blazers at the Golden 1 Center is a must-win contest.

The Kings Have To Win

Obviously, the Kings will not miss the playoffs if they lose their match against the Blazers. But they still need to win the game.

The Kings need to change the narrative. They have to stop being satisfied with moral victories against good teams and start winning those games if they want to increase their win total and show the rest of the league what they are capable of.

Plus, the Blazers this season have struggled so far as they are 4-6 for the year. In my opinion, they will rebound and start playing like the playoff-caliber team that they are, but it better not be against the Kings tomorrow.

Sacramento and their fans have already witnessed Portland beating their team at Golden 1 this year. It will be unacceptable if the purple and white let that happen again. Minus Marvin Bagley III, the Kings are healthy and getting better through time. Tomorrow night is a great opportunity to prove they can compete for a playoff spot by beating one of the more talented teams in the West.

Final Message

This past offseason, a lot of noise was made within the Kings community that this season is playoffs or bust. If the Kings truly believe that they can make the playoffs this season, they should beat an underachieving Blazers team on their homecourt.

Do not get me wrong, the Blazers have a talented roster, but so do the Kings. They have proven it after starting the campaign 0-5. So when tomorrow night comes along, the Kings should be ready to play a heck of a game. Show the fans what they deserve which is a team that is talented, efficient, and determined.

A win against Portland will help win back the fans and give them hope that their team is on to bigger and better things.
