Player #2: Yogi Ferrell

After being the Sacramento Kings’ backup point guard last season, Yogi Ferrell got demoted to third-string point guard this year. But he will have the chance to earn more minutes with De’Aaron Fox out.

For Yogi, he is a sparkplug off the bench as he can instantly score when on the court. Last season, 71 games, he averaged around six points and two assists per game while making around 44% of his shots from the floor, 36% from three, and 90% from the free-throw line. This year, his averages had dropped to two points and one assist per game while making 40% from the floor, 25% from three, and 75% from the free-throw line.

Last year, there were times where Yogi electrified and helped rally his team to victories, but those moments happened inconsistently. This time around, Yogi must be more reliable in how he plays from game to game. He must be ready to be an offensive juggernaut every time he gets his number called. If successful, it will help boost his team during their time in need.
