With De’Aaron Fox sidelined for a few weeks with an ankle injury, who do the Sacramento Kings rely on to help pick up the slack?

For the Sacramento Kings, they entered the 2019-20 season with a lot of optimism. The youth of the franchise was blossoming and the team added veteran pieces to make the team complete. It honestly was the deepest roster that the Kings have had in a long time.

But since the regular season has started, it has been a nightmare for the purple and white. The team started the campaign 0-5 and their promising forward Marvin Bagley III injured his thumb in the first game and his return is undetermined.

Nothing else can go wrong, right? Think again.

Not too long ago, the report came out that the Kings’ star guard De’Aaron Fox injured his ankle and will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks.

If there was one player that the Kings prayed would not get injured this year, it had to be Fox. Not only is Fox the franchise guy going forward, but he is the man who orchestrates the fast-paced offense that has made the Kings so dangerous in the last year.

With the injury to Fox, there is no doubt that the team gets worse in terms of talent. But Vlade Divac and his group constructed this roster for it to be a deep team. Yes, no one on the team right now can solely replace Fox’s production, but collectively, the Kings can limit the damage if some of their players can step up their games.

Enjoy this slideshow on who I think are the three main guys that can help pick up the slack with Fox now sidelined.
