With the first month over in the NBA regular season, let us discuss who the top three players were for the Sacramento Kings in October.
October is now over and no one is happier to know that than the Sacramento Kings. With the team entering the campaign with high expectations, they started the year in the worst way possible.
It started with a blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns who most fans thought would be an easy win. Not only did the Kings lose that night, but as we know now, they lost their promising forward Marvin Bagley III to a thumb injury which will sideline him for about a month.
Fast forward four games later and the purple and white remained winless. During that stretch, a lot of negativity swirled around the franchise. Fans started to turn their backs against the team, players were firing back towards the media, and the community was calling for Luke Walton and Vlade Divac‘s jobs.
But once the calendar turned to November, the Kings have been better as they are currently on a two-game winning streak.
Last month was a hot mess for the Kings, to say the least. But with that being said, they were still some positives to take away during that stretch. Even though the team collectively was horrid to watch, there were a handful of players that performed well and pleased their fans.
Let us talk about those players and analyze their success in October.
