Reason #3: Harry Loves Sacramento
I have explained ways of why the Sacramento Kings would want to keep Harry Giles on board but not if Harry views Sacramento as a future home. If one does not think there is love between Giles and the city of Sacramento, then they have been living under a rock.
Since Giles has been a member of the Kings, he has embraced the fanbase and has bought into what the team is doing. Whether it is from social media or interviews with the media, Harry has been adamant about how proud he is to be with the team and how appreciative he is to have supportive fans.

Even though Harry’s time with the Kings has not been pretty on the court, there is still a mutual affection between both parties. In a perfect world, Harry would be one of the main pieces to the Kings’ rebuild and someone who remains with the franchise for his whole career.
Even though that fantasy is in jeopardy right now, there is still a chance. Harry can have the breakout season that many hoped he would have this year and he and the Kings can figure out a contract that keeps him on the team longer.
A lot of wishful thinking, but the dream has not died yet.
