Reason #1: Harry Can Finally Defeat The Injury Demons

Although Harry has not been impressive during his time with the Kings, he is still young and has incredible potential. Harry’s skillset cannot be questioned. As a man that stands close to seven feet tall, he moves like a guard, is a playmaker on the offensive end, and can be an agitator defensively.

There is no doubt that Harry is a good basketball player, but health has held him back from showcasing his skills consistently. Going back to his high school days, Giles has suffered gruesome injuries to his knees which have sidelined the three-year pro for most of his career. Even after having an offseason to rest and recover, Giles’ body continues to fail him as he has another lower-body injury which has prevented him to play this season.

Although the health of Harry has been unreliable so far, there is still time for him to prove to Sacramento that he can be trusted. Once he becomes healthy enough to play, he cannot have any more setbacks. He has to play the rest of the way so he can prove to Vlade Divac and the company that they can bank on him for the majority of games.

The chances of Harry instantly staying healthy are steep, but still possible. I think everyone can agree that if he can be trusted with his health, the Kings would want him on board for the long haul.
