Friday’s game between the Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz features two teams headed in opposite directions.

The Sacramento Kings were blown out last Saturday by the Utah Jazz, which marked the point in which Kings fans began to panic.

They didn’t just lose to a superior team. They were blown out and embarrassed, and the issues that are more clear today began to show their ugly faces. The energy was gone, the Kings lacked passion, and ended up losing by 32 points.

Things have not improved for Sacramento since.

The Jazz, on the other hand, are 4-1 and sitting atop the Northwest Division, their only loss coming at the hands of the new-look Lakers.

There is an off-chance that Utah will overlook the Kings on Friday as their next three games will be against the Clippers, 76ers, and Bucks. Don’t count on it.

Here’s what you need to know about tonight’s contest:

Players To Watch:

There are plenty of Sacramento Kings that have something to prove not only in this game, but in every game in the near future. Can De’Aaron Fox be the alpha leader of the team? Will Buddy Hield find his stroke? Can ANYONE provide a spark off of the bench?

The only players that have been performing up to snuff are Richaun Holmes and Nemanja Bjelica. Everyone else needs to step their game up.

Next. It's Official: The Kings Are Terrible. dark

Prediction:

The Kings have to win sometime, right? Right?! We’re going to think positive until they do.

Kings 101, Jazz 98
