Royal Roundtable: 10 Questions On The Sacramento Kings
Q9: What Will The Center Rotation Look Like?
Nunes – “I am keeping Giles out of my center rotation for now, because, as I said, he needs to return to health and play his way into it. But I would go with Dedmon having about 23 minutes, 18 for Bjelicia, and 7 or so to Bagley at the five. Those are, of course, rough estimates.”
Ritter – “My gut is telling me that the intended rotation is Dedmon-Holmes-Giles. They didn’t go out and spend a ton of money on Dewayne Dedmon to keep in on the bench. However, the center rotation is in flux a bit given that nobody outside of the front office seems to know what’s going on with Harry Giles AND the fact that Richuan Holmes made a huge impact both on and off the court during the preseason. In a way, Holmes is the quintessential Sacramento fan favorite: he never gives up on a play, he has a ton of energy, and he clearly wants to be here. Don’t be stunned if he eventually makes his way into the starting lineup depending on how the season goes.”
