Q3: What Can We Expect From Harry Giles This Season?

Nunes – “Sadly, I don’t think much. With the mystery behind Harry Giles not appearing in summer league or preseason and likely being unavailable for the start of the regular season, who knows how often he will even be on the floor. Not to mention the frontcourt competition — to me, he is behind Dedmon, Bagley, Holmes, and Bjelicia in the rotation when he does return.”

Ritter – “I’d like to be able to say I expect a big leap from Giles, a guy whose skill set and personality is practically begging to be a Sacramento fan favorite on the level of Scot Pollard. However, I can’t get around the fact that the dude hasn’t played since March 21st. He is currently scheduled to miss at least the season opener. So, I would be immensely happy if his 2019-20 season resembled his 2018-19 season; steady minutes with a handful of flashes of the player he could eventually become. I’d also like him to start working a perimeter shot if possible. He has range and the system the Kings are running this year will only benefit from him stretching the floor that way.”
